Aaron Johnston, a filmmaker based out of Lafayette, LA, has been an artist for more than a decade. He specializes in wedding videography, commercial expressions, short films, and music. He grew up in a small town with rich musical overtones in Tennessee. Being immersed in bluegrass music under his father’s guidance, Aaron learned how to express himself in art. He learned to conjure emotions and feelings with music that, with subtle waves of change, put passion into shape. This lead to Aaron’s exploration of other creative outlets, where in college he studied photography. The capturing of an image to express a feeling was very powerful and worth exploring, but what truly captured his artistic fire was the storytelling nature found only in the essence of film.

A native of Louisiana with a taste for adventure, Alex is an artist who doesn’t let anything keep him from bringing to light his imaginative vision. He attributes much of his passion for film to his mother and her own photographic talents. His childhood was filled with the warmth of candid family photos, as is wildly evident when viewing his videos. Alex is soft spoken, but he allows his work to speak for itself—and it speaks volumes. His gifts have taken him far and tend to feed his hunger for travel, although his heart never strays far from home.
